Nymgo provides there own softphone software, but still if you want to use the service in X-Lite softphone, its very easy to setup

STEP 1 : Once you launch the softphone a new window will pop-up with your "SIP Accounts" Click on the "Add.." button.

Enter the following SIP configurations:

Account tab:

Display name : Your name and last name
Username : Your username for Nymgo
Password : Your password for Nymgo
Authorization user name : Your username for Nymgo
Domain : ata.nymgo.com
Register with domain and receive incoming calls : make check mark
Send Outbound via : Domain

Topology Tab:

IP Address:
Discover Global Address radio button: "Checked"

Stun Server:
Use specified Server: stun.nymgo.com:80

STEP 2 : Click on the "OK" button

STEP 3 : Click the "Close" button in the new window. Now you are ready to make calls using Nymgo.

• STEP 1 : Choose SIP from the list (press your joystick in to select items in the list) and press Next using your right soft key.
• STEP 2 : A new screen appears choose "Other" from the list.
• STEP 3 : Enter the following for Registrar Server settings:
  
  User ID :: Nymgo username
  Password :: Nymgo account password
  SIP proxy :: ata.nymgo.com
  
  Fring will register your account.

Now follow these steps for making Nymgo account call with Fring :

1. Choose a contact in your address book and press "Options" using your left soft key.

2. From the Call sub menu, choose "SIP call". Your call is made using the Nymgo account you have added.

How to make a call using Nymgo?

To make a call using Nymgo Software please follow the below steps:

• Login to Nymgo soft phone using your user name and password chosen during Registration.
• The dial pad will open,
• Enter the phone number you wish to call. You can enter the number by clicking on the dialer numbers one by one, or entering the entire number in the provided "dialing box".
• The number should be entered using one of the below formats:
  a. "00" + Country Code + phone number. Example 0012124442222. OR,
  b. "011" + Country Code + phone number. Example 011971501113333. OR,
  c. "+" then Country Code + phone number. Example +15143332222. The "+" is not available as a button on Nymgo Soft phone, please use the Keyboard "+" sign if you prefer to use this dialing format.
• Click on the "Green phone" button.

Setting up the internet telephony

Tools / Settings / Connection / Internet Tel. Settings
Create a new profile for “VoIP Call (username)”, name it “VoIP Call” (or as you wish)

Choose “My VoIP Profile” as Preferred profile (the profile name you entered in step 1)

You should see successful registration, Now you should be able to make the call, try to call using the internet call facility, if it does not work reboot your phone.


Go to Tools / Settings / Call / Default call type
Select Cellular to make normal calls, Internet to use VoIP to call.
